ICD Diagnostica

Medical disclaimer

This disclaimer sets out the nature and limits of the ICD Diagnostica platform. Please read it before using the tool.

Not for medical emergencies. ICD Diagnostica does not detect emergencies, does not alert services or on-call staff, and does not transmit information to any emergency-response system. If you or another person is in immediate danger, experiencing suicidal ideation, or in an acute psychiatric crisis – call your local emergency number immediately (112 in the European Union, 911 in North America) or contact a national crisis helpline.

1. Nature of the tool

ICD Diagnostica is an informational and educational tool that supports the intellectual work of a qualified clinician. The platform organises diagnostic criteria, symptoms and differential-diagnosis guidance based on the WHO ICD-11 classification.

ICD Diagnostica is not a medical device within the meaning of Regulation (EU) 2017/745 (MDR), is not CE-marked, and is not subject to regulatory supervision as such. It is not Medical Device Software (MDSW) – it is a supporting tool, not a diagnosing one.

2. Who the platform is for

The platform is intended exclusively for qualified mental-health professionals – psychologists, psychiatrists, psychotherapists, physicians, and students or trainees of those disciplines acting under supervision.

Self-diagnosis by people without clinical training is prohibited. The tool is not a consumer product and must not be used in any context of a diagnosis made by the patient themselves or by family members.

3. Decision support, not a replacement

The results, symptom indicators and differential suggestions presented by the platform do not constitute a diagnosis or medical advice and do not replace independent clinical judgment. The final diagnostic and therapeutic decision rests entirely with the qualified professional, who bears responsibility for it.

Use of the platform does not create a doctor–patient or therapist–patient relationship between the user and the platform operator.

4. Content and data limitations

Substantive content is based on the WHO ICD-11 classification and on the clinical descriptions and diagnostic requirements (CDDR). We make every effort to be accurate, but we do not warrant the completeness or error-free nature of the information presented. ICD-11 is updated by the WHO – always verify the data against the original source.

Detailed terms, the scope of liability and data-processing rules are set out in: Terms, Privacy Policy and FAQ / legal information.
