Schizophrenia, multiple episodes, in full remission

Schizophrenia with a multi-episode course is in full remission – symptoms have resolved satisfactorily following a further episode. Functioning is close to the pre-episode level or markedly improved. No active psychotic symptoms are observed. Ongoing monitoring is essential given the history of relapses.
