Schizophrenia, continuous, in partial remission

Schizophrenia with a continuous course is in partial remission – symptom severity has decreased but symptoms have not fully resolved. Functioning has improved relative to the active phase, but some difficulties persist. Treatment is ongoing and producing partial effects. Monitoring is necessary given the chronic nature of the course.
