Single episode depressive disorder, severe, with psychotic symptoms

Characterized by very severe depressive symptoms simultaneously accompanied by delusions or hallucinations. The psychotic features are mood-congruent or mood-incongruent. The episode causes profound disability and frequently requires inpatient care.
