Personality disorder
A disorder characterized by enduring disturbances in self-functioning (identity, self-worth, direction, goals) and/or interpersonal functioning, along with maladaptive patterns of cognition, emotional experience, emotional expression, and behavior. These patterns are relatively fixed across situations and time, and cause significant distress or functional impairment.

- Unstable and conflictual interpersonal relationships
- Lack of clear goals, values, or life direction
- Impaired emotion regulation
- Rigid, maladaptive patterns across contexts
- Significant deviation from cultural norms
- Significant impairment of social/occupational functioning
- Persistent subjective distress
