Neurodevelopmental disorders
Neurodevelopmental disorders are characterized by difficulties that emerge during childhood affecting learning, speech, movement, interaction with others, or control of one's own behavior. They may impact daily functioning at school, at home, and in peer relationships. They encompass a broad spectrum: from mild difficulties with concentration to significant challenges in communication and independence. Early identification enables better tailoring of support to individual needs.
