Mixed depressive and anxiety disorder

Characterized by the simultaneous presence of depressive symptoms (low mood, fatigue, loss of pleasure) and anxiety symptoms (tension, worry, fear) at subthreshold severity for either diagnosis individually. Neither component is severe enough to meet criteria for a separate depressive or anxiety disorder. The combined symptom picture impairs daily functioning.
